This policy explains how Product Pieces ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use productpieces.io. Product Pieces is the data controller. Questions: privacy@productpieces.io.
What we collect.
We collect only what you give us or what is needed to run the site:
- Diagnostic & enquiry data. Your name, email and (optionally) company and role, when you complete the Diagnostic or contact us.
- Newsletter. Your email address, if you subscribe to The Read.
- Usage data. If analytics are enabled, anonymised or pseudonymised data about pages visited and device type, set only with your consent (see our Cookie policy).
Why we use it.
To respond to your enquiry and deliver your Diagnostic result (performance of a contract / our legitimate interest in responding), to send The Read where you have opted in (consent), and to understand and improve the site (consent, via analytics).
Who we share it with.
We use a small number of trusted processors: a scheduling provider (Calendly) when you book a call, an email/newsletter provider when you subscribe, and an analytics provider if enabled. We do not sell your data. Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA under appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it.
Enquiry and Diagnostic data: up to 24 months after our last contact. Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe. Analytics: per the provider's retention settings.
Your rights.
You can ask to access, correct, delete or port your data, or object to processing, at any time — email privacy@productpieces.io. You can unsubscribe from The Read with one click. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes.
We will post any changes here and update the date above.
