In short

Product Pieces shaped a US solo founder's idea to revolutionise how tradespeople are serviced (an Uber-style on-demand model) into a defined MVP, a roadmap and a build cost to help secure investment. Delivered by our founder, a Toptal Top 3% product manager.

The brief.

A US solo founder wanted to bring the Uber model to the trades: on-demand, matched, accountable. The ask was to shape the idea into an MVP and roadmap, understand the build cost, and help build the case to secure investment.

The challenge.

On-demand marketplaces live or die on the first version: too much and you burn the runway; too little and there's nothing to prove. The work was defining the smallest credible MVP, sequencing what comes after, and putting a defensible cost and plan behind it for investors.

What we delivered.

A defined MVP — the core matching-and-service loop — a sequenced roadmap for what follows, and a build cost to underpin the raise. Shaped to prove the model first and scale deliberately, with a plan investors could believe.

The result.

The founder moved from concept to a defined MVP, roadmap and cost. The package needed to take an Uber-for-trades idea into build and in front of investors.
