In short

Product Pieces shaped the propositional offering and MVP for a Brazilian wine-storage SME automating its business — a platform that lets customers manage shipments in and out and see their stored collection, defined and ready to build. Delivered by our founder, a Toptal Top 3% product manager.

The brief.

A Brazilian wine-storage business ran a working but largely manual operation. They wanted to automate it, and to give their customers a platform to ship wine in and out and understand exactly what they had in storage. The ask: build out the propositional offering and define the MVP they could take forward and have built.

The challenge.

Going from a manual service to a customer-facing platform is a bigger leap than it looks. The opportunity was clear; the product wasn't. They needed the proposition defined and the MVP scoped tightly. Enough to prove the model and earn customer trust, without over-building before they knew it landed.

What we delivered.

A shaped proposition built on the real customer value of self-serve storage management, and a defined MVP: the core flows (inbound and outbound shipments, and clear visibility of stored inventory) scoped to prove the model and ready to hand to a build team.

The result.

The business came away with a clear proposition and a buildable MVP. A defined path from a manual operation to a customer-facing platform, ready to take into build.
